elevate your storytelling
a residential business storytelling retreat
Dates: 29-30 Nov - 01Dec (Weekend, residential retreat). (2.5 days)
Where: Olde Bangalore Resort, Devanahalli (Near Bangalore Airport).
Facilitators: Ameen Haque, Tanya Mathur Bhattacharya
Once you are in business, storytelling is also your business. Further, good stories happen to those who can tell them. Look around and you will find that leaders, in any field, are also great communicators. This means, that good communication and storytelling have become pre-requisites for leadership roles. If you are an entrepreneur, you already know this that all fundraising is storytelling.
A lot of people do good work but when they talk about their work, their narration falls flat and fails to inspire. This workshop aims to correct that by helping people improve their storytelling.
Learn how to engage, inspire and move your audiences with your story.

Ameen Haque is the founder of Storywallahs and believes good stories happen to those who can tell them. He considers himself a story monk i.e. both a student as well as a practitioner and teacher of storytelling. CEO’ s, change makers and business leaders from across the world have turned to him for help with their stories. He has studied business administration and followed that up with a course in advertising & media planning from MICA. Formerly a Vice President at Ogilvy & Mather, Ameen has over 20 years of experience in advertising, marketing, consulting and theatre. His work is deeply influenced by his experiences in communications, both as a marketer and as an actor. Tanya is a story seeker, a story spotter and a story teller. She looks at the world through a story lens and lives to inspire others to do the same. She has facilitation experience of almost 20 years. She has worked with two major corporates during her career as an L&D resource managing sizeable teams spread across Indian states. She has also held a business partnership role in the Indian office of an international training firm that's headquartered in Netherlands. Tanya finds inspiration in Muriel Ruckeyser's quote, "The universe is made of stories, not of atoms." And that's exactly why she facilitates workshops and coaches corporate leaders, people managers and individual contributors to enable them to tell a better version of their work story, data story, product/service story, personal branding story, and innovation pitch story. She works closely with not just corporates, but also with social sector organisations and startups. She believes everyone has a story to tell and they should be able to tell it in a way that highlights the impact they and their work creates.
